Description: Students have to perform a Survey with Auto Level Instrument on a given site (College Flag
Post area) & do the required basic calculations.
Flow of the event:
1) Groups will be allotted numbers accordingly they have to perform the survey in the allotted site
(Flagpost area) and note down reading from the instrument.
2) Till then other participants will be waiting in (104 room no).
3) Once surveying is done participants have to come back to the survey room.
4) For the calculation they will be provided a calculation sheet. After calculation they have to submit the
sheet to co-ordinator.
Rules:
1) The competition will be open to all students of all departments.
2) In this event, teams compete to accurately measure and map out a section of land.
3) Points are awarded for speed, accuracy, and completeness of the survey.
4) The competition will have a specific scope, which may involve a specific survey project or a particular
aspect of civil engineering surveying.
5) Participants must have a maximum of 3 members with at least one member who should be majoring in
civil engineering.
6) Surveying machines will be provided & utmost care has to be taken of the instrument.
7) Participants from different year departments can form a team.
8) Participants will be required to submit their work in a specified format, which may include drawings,
technical reports, and other supporting materials.
9) The competition will have a set of judging criteria that will be used to evaluate the submissions.
10) The criteria may include factors such as technical accuracy, creativity, and innovation.
11) Exalt the organizing committee or alloted supervisor reserves the right to disqualify any team if they
do not follow above-mentioned instructions.
12) Exalt the organizing committee or alloted supervisor reserves the right to change any or all of the
above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any, will be highlighted.
13) Materials Required: Surveying Machine (Auto level), Sheet (calculation). (stationary materials Should
be carried out by students themself).
